Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Eligibility

Vayu Sena Agneevir Education Qualification:

(a) For Science Subjects:

• Pass Intermediate / 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English with min 50% marks in aggregate while 50% marks in English; OR
• 3-years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science /
  Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) with 50% marks; OR
• 2-years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Math with 50% marks.

(b) For Other Than Science Subjects:

• Pass Intermediate / 10+2 / 12th Class in any subject with min 50% marks in aggregate while 50% marks in English; OR
• 2-years vocational course with min 50% marks.

IAF Agniveer Age Limit:

Generally the age limit for Army Agneepath Scheme is set to min 17.5 to 21 years. The one-time relaxation of 2 years in upper age limit was applicable for the Recruiting Year 2022 only. Therefore, the age limit for now is min 17.5 to 21 years. Candidate born between 02 Jan 2004 to 02 Jul 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. Please note that there is no relaxation on category or caste based reservation in Vayu Sena Agnipath Scheme.

Air Force Agneepat Recruitment 2025 Selection Procedure

There is no change in Indian Air Force Selection Procedure even in case of Agneepath Recruitment. The candidates are to be shortlist through three steps as earlier in Vayu Sena Agniveer Bharti Notification. All candidates have to appear as well as qualify in the required phases. Following are the stages to qualify each one by one.

Air Force Agniveer Physical Criteria

IAF Vayu Agniveer Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is applicable to those candidates who qualify in online test. PFT is consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds. In addition, Candidates have to complete 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats within the stipulated time.

• Height: Min 152.5 cm.
• Chest: Min range of expansion: 5 cm.
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
• Eye Sight: Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. Though, the visual requirements as applicable as per IAF norms.
• Hearing: Normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
• Dental: Healthy gums and good set of teeth with min 14 dental points.
• General Health: Candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages. He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin ailments. Physically as well as mental fitness is necessary to perform duty in type of climate and terrain.

Air Force Agnipath Exam Pattern

The Agniveer Vayu IAF Online Test has objective type questions in bilingual (English & Hindi) mode except for English paper. Each right question has 1 mark. On the other hand there is negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer. Online test is to be conduct in one sitting for all subjects, on the same system. IAF Agniveer Vayu Admit Card

All eligible candidates will be sent provisional admit cards for Phase- I Online Test on their e-mail ID before 48-72 hours to the examination. They can download and take a color printout and carry the same to the exam centre on the day of online test. Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Salary

The IAF Agniveervayu Pay Scale is Rs 4.75 lakh for the 1st year which is to be hike subsequently by coming years. Later it grows up to Rs 6.92 lakh by the 4th year of service.
