HSSC TGT Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The min educational qualification for TGT jobs in Haryana is having Graduate degree in the relevant subject. Candidates should have Hindi / Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matriculation or higher.

HTET Pass: Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) / School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) of respective subject for the post applied is necessary.

Teaching Experience: Experience for socio-economic criteria is to be considered only after acquiring the essential qualification and it should be issued by competent authority of the concerned Department/Commission/Board/Corporation of Govt of Haryana. Teaching experience must be for the post of TGT in the relevant subject.

Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is 18 to 42 years. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 3 years for BC and 5 years for SC candidates.
