Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or) Higher Secondary pass and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (or) Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Passed in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper- I.
Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is min 18 whereas max 53 years. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 5 years for SC, BC, ST candidates.
