PGCIL Junior Technician Trainee Eligibility
Educational Qualification: ITI (Electrical) pass in Electrician Trade at induction level of W3 grade after completion of one-year training. Higher technical qualification like Diploma/B.E./B.Tech with or without ITI not allowed to apply.
Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is min 18 whereas max 27 years. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
PGCIL Junior Technician Syllabus
Written exam, having two parts, has objective type multiple choice questions. Part-I consists of Technical Knowledge Test with 120 questions from respective engineering discipline. Part-II consists of Supervisory Aptitude Test with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability etc. In total, there are 170 questions for 170 marks. Each right question has 1 mark. On the other hand there is negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. Duration of exam is 2 hours.
