Are you searching for the MP State Forest Service Exam Pattern? Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) annually organizes the State Forest Service Examination to fill up the posts of Assistant Conservator of Forest and Forest Ranger. Following is the detailed Examination Pattern.
1. State Forest Service Preliminary Examination
2. State Forest Service Main Examination
1. State Forest Service Preliminary Examination : This test is the first qualifying exam among the five successive stages of selection. This test will have Two question papers. Both will have multiple choice based objective type questions. Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in first paper of preliminary exam. This is mandatory to obtain 40% marks (by unreserved candidates) and 30% marks by SC/ST/OBC candidates in it’s second paper. However, final merit list for the selection shall only be prepared on the basis of marks obtained on Main Exam and Interview. There will be no Negative marking in Preliminary Examination. Only the candidates placed in merit list of Preliminary Examination shall be allowed to appear further in Selection Procedure.
2. State Forest Service Main Examination : Main Exam will comprise of Four Question Papers. Every question paper shall have a total weightage of 200 marks. Question papers shall be based on General Studies, General Hindi, General English and Optional Subjects.
