Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi is going to conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII. CTET Notification 2018 is now released by CBSE. The Paper-II will be held in morning session and Paper-I in evening session. The CTET 2018 Online Form will be available for the registration at website www.ctet.nic.in. Central Teacher Eligibility Test Eligibility Criteria…

Following table contains the requisite educational qualification standard, age bar and experience required to appear in CTET 2018.

PAPER Qualification Age Limit
CTET 2018 (PAPER-I), for Class I-V, Primary Stage Senior Secondary pass with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or JBT).
OR
Senior Secondary pass with 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or JBT), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary pass with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary pass with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or JBT).
No age limit
CTET 2018 (PAPER-II), for Class VI-VIII, Elementary Stage Graduation degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or JBT).
OR
Graduation degree with 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation degree with 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary pass with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary pass with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation degree with 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

CTET 2018 Examination Pattern…

All questions in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives of answers. Each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking. You can also download the detailed structure of exam in Pdf format here.
Scheme of CTET Paper-I
Paper-I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V. The topics of questions and marks distribution are shown in below table.

NOTE: Questions in Paper-I will be based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of NCERT for classes I to V but their difficulty standard as well as linkages, could be up to the Secondary stage.

Person who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Admit card and call letter for the CTET 2018 can be downloaded online only. No Admit Cards will be sent by post to any candidate. Facility of printing of CTET Admit Card 2018 will be available from 20.08.2018. Check the following link to download your CTET Hall Ticket.
 

CTET 2018 Result & Cut-Off Marks…

CTET Result
Declaration of result of the written test will be done within 06 weeks from the date of conduct of examination. CTET 2018 Result will be available online at IndiaJoining.com website. Merit List and final result will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Main Written Examination. Final result of qualified candidates, in each category, will be available to download from given link after the publication of same.
