A. Professor
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.10000
Qualification: An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research. 10 years of teaching experience in university/college.
B. Associate Professor
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.9000
Qualification: Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. Master’s degree with at least 55% marks. 08 years of experience of teaching and/or research.
C. Assistant Professor
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000
Qualification: Good academic record with at least 55% marks at the master’s degree level in a relevant subject and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) exam.
D. University Librarian
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100, Grade Pay 6600
Qualification: Master’s degree in Library science / Information Science / documentation with 13 years experience.
E. Deputy Registrar
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100, Grade Pay 6600
Qualification: Master’s Degree or its equivalent with years’ of experience as Assistant Professor.
F. Deputy Accountant
Salary: Rs.38,090/- per month
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Commerce with Advance Accounting and Auditing as a special/principal/main subject. 05 years of supervisory level experience of accounting work.
G. Assistant Accountant
Salary: Rs.38,090/- per month
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Commerce with Advance Accounting and Auditing as a special / principal / main subject OR Chartered Accountant. 03 years experience of accounting work.
H. Junior Clerk/Typist
Salary: Rs.19,950/- per month
Qualification: Graduate degree from UGC recognized University. Certificate of basic knowledge of computer applications.
I. Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry)
Salary: Rs.19,950/- per month
Qualification: Bachelor degree of Science with Chemistry as a main subject. 02 years experience as Laboratory Assistant.
J. Laboratory Assistant (Physics)
Rs.19,950/- per month
Qualification: B.Sc. degree with Physics as a main subject. 02 years experience as Laboratory Assistant in the related subject’s Laboratory.

After submitted once, candidates are required to send paper print of online applications along with supporting documents to the – I/C Registrar, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Udhana-Magdalla Road, Surat-395007, Gujarat.
Fees/Charges: Application fee for the post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Librarian and Deputy Registrar is Rs. 1000/- for General/SEBC/PH candidates (Rs.375/- for SC/ST candidates). Fee for the post of Deputy Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Junior Clerk/Typist, Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry) and Laboratory Assistant (Physics) is Rs. 1000/- for General/SEBC/PH candidates (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates). The online application form fee is to be paid using Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking only.
