VSI Vacancy Details:
- Research Assistant – 01 post
Age Limit: as per existing rules and regulations.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,000/- plus HRA per month
Qualification: M.Sc. (Microbiology/Biotechnology) with genuine interest in research work. Prior knowledge regarding revival, propagation, maintenance, storage and routine aseptic handling of obligate anaerobic bacteria will be preferred. Prior applied knowledge on biochemical and genetic characterization of microorganisms is desirable.
Experience: 06 months/01 year experience of research work related to alcoholic fermentation or related area will be preferred. Experience of handling of anaerobic microorganisms or experience in microbial genetic engineering will be preferred.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted/selected on the basis of their performance in written examination and/or interview.
