The examination will consist of two papers. Paper-I (max 200 marks) will be set to assess the Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge and General Awareness etc. Paper-II (max 200 marks) will be set to examine the English language & Comprehension skills of candidates. Maximum allowed time for both papers is 02 hours (for each paper).

Physical Efficiency Test
For male candidates only
a) 100 meters race to be completed in 16 seconds
b) 1.6 Kms race to be completed in 6.5 minutes
c) Long Jump of 3.65 meters in 3 chances
d) High Jump of 1.2 meters in 3 chances
e) Shot put (16 Lbs) of 4.5 meters in 3 chance
For female candidates only
a) 100 meters race to be completed in 18 seconds
b) 800 meters race to be completed in 4 minutes
c) Long Jump of 2.7 meters (9 feet) in 3 chances.
d) High Jump of 0.9 meters (3 feet) in 3 chances.
Written Examination
PAPER-I

Only those candidates, qualified in Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test and found medically fit will be allowed to appear in Paper-II. No relaxation will be given in this regard.
PAPER-II

Questions in both papers will be of Objective type in nature having Multiple Choice of answers. Questions will be set in the languages of Hindi and English in Parts A, B and C of Paper I. Staff Selection Commission may at the discretion fix qualifying marks in Paper-II. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II. Canvassing in any form will disqualifying the candidates.
