Applications are being invited from the eligible Indian candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices for imparting training in the various trades at various Workshops/Units (Mumbai, Bhusawal, Pune, Nagpur and Solapur Clusters) of RRC Central Railway. Applications will be accepted only ONLINE up to 30/11/2016.

Educational Standard: The candidate must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) or its equivalent standard (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate. Candidate should also possess a National Trade Certificate in the concern trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.
Age Bar: The candidates should have completed minimum age of 15 years and should not have attained the upper age of 24 years (as on 01-11-2016) i.e. Candidate should be born between 01/11/2001 to 01/11/1992 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. For Persons with Disability, the upper age limit is relaxable up to max 10 years.
Selection Process: Selection will be done only on basis of merit list to be prepared. Merit List will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of percentage of marks in Matriculation (with minimum 50% (aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. If the two candidates found having same marks, the candidate with older age shall be preferred. After preparation of merit list, the same will be advised to respective Divisions/Units on Central Railway. Document verification and medical examination will be held in opted Divisions/Units, as per the Cluster as mentioned in the Candidate’s Applications.
Application Fee: An application fee of Rs. 100/- is payable (Non-refundable). Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway as an integrated part of the online application process. The payment can be made by using debit card / credit card / Internet Banking / SBI Challan etc. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt with the date entered by the candidate will be generated, which should be printed and retained by candidate for future references. There is No fee to be paid by SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply ONLINE by visiting www.rrccr.com. Only ONE application should be submit by a candidate. Candidates are required to upload their color photograph (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cms, in JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of the file should be between 20 kb-70 kb). Candidates are also have to upload their signature image (size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, JPG/JPEG format, 100 DPI, size of the file should be between 20 kb – 30kb). No physical/paper copy of online application is required to be sent to RRC RRC Central Railway. Detailed Instructions available here.
