Age Limit: General candidates should have age between 15 – 24 years as on 17.06.2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.

Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate. Candidate also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the posts of Apprentices in RRC Bhubaneswar. Merit list will be prepared for the purpose on the basis of taking average of matriculation plus ITI marks. A panel will be prepared on the basis of simple average of marks obtained in requiste educational qualification standard. Shortlisted candidates, thus enlisted, will further be called for documentation and Certificate verification. In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidates with older age shall be preferred for the selection. Final merit list will be prepared unit wise, trade wise and community wise. Candidates finally enlisted would be subject to verification of original testimonials and those who being found fit in appropriate Medical examination by Railways as applicable for the Workshop and for the other Units will be selected.

Application Fee: Candidates belonging to the General category are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- through online by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking/ e-wallets, etc. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates are exempted from the application fee. The payment can be made by using debit card / credit card / Internet Banking / e-wallets, etc.

How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply online through the website www.apprentice.rrcbbs.org.in. Candidates have to apply for any one Unit only. Candidates are required to upload their color photograph (size 20 kb-50 kb) with clear front view, without cap or sunglasses and the image of signature (size 5kb – 20kb). No physical copy of the application is required to be sent to RRC, Bhubaneswar.
