- Scientist‘C’ (Medical) – 01 post
- Scientist‘B’ (Microbiology) – 02 posts
A. Scientist‘C’ (Medical)
Salary: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs.6600
Qualification: MBBS Degree recognized by MCI.
Experience: Four years’ research experience in relevant areas.
Desirable: MD in Social and Preventive Medicine or related subjects. Additional Post M.D research/ teaching experience in relevant areas. Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Age: 40 years.
B. Scientist‘B’ (Microbiology)
Salary: Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400
Qualification: First class Master’s Degree in Microbiology or Master’s Degree with Microbiology as one of the subjects, or Microbiology as one of the subject with PhD degree in Microbiology.
Desirable: Ph.D degree in Microbiology and should have Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Experience: Three years’ research/ teaching experience in related areas
Age: 35 years.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay Rs. 500/- and Rs. 100/- for SC & ST in the form of crossed demand draft of any nationalized Bank drawn in favor of Director, RMRC (ICMR), Port Blair payable at Port Blair. Candidates belonging to PwD category are exempted from payment of application fee.
