Odisha SSC Ayush Assistant Eligibility Norms
OSSC Ayush Assistant qualification norms and eligibility standards are listed in below Additionally, for both posts, candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia language. S/he must have passed middle standard exam with Odia.
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 standard pass with Science subjects.
- Age limit: 18 to 32 years as on 01/01/2017.

Selection will be done through two stages of recruitment process. Recruitment process will comprise written examination, career marking and document verification. No interview will be conducted. Common merit list for the selection will be prepared basing on sum total of marks in written exam (70%) and career marking (30%). Below table elaborates the stages of selection process.

OSSC Ayush Assistant Exam will be of 100 marks in total. The written test will have multiple choice based objective type questions. Duration of exam will be 1 hour. There will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong attempted question. 70% of marks secured in written examination shall be taken in account in preparation of final merit list for selection. Scheme and pattern of written exam is given below in table.

Syllabus of written examination will have questions from the curriculum of 12th standard study of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Questions will be retrieved from the syllabus of CHSE, Odisha. Questions of General Knowledge section of exam paper will cover the general studies, current events, books, authors, history, geography, economy of India having a special reference to Odisha state.
