National Institute of Traditional Medicine (NITM), Belgaum is inviting applications to fill up one posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). Post is being filled-up to work under the project entitled “Evaluation of in-vivo Anti-Herpes activity of HM-7, an ethnomedicinal alkaloid to develop a topical anti-viral formulation”. NITM Vacancy Details:

  • Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 01 post

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.

Pay Scale: Rs. 28,000/- pm + 20% HRA (fixed)

Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Life Science / Biological Science with NET and 2 years research experience or M.Pharm/MBBS/MD.

Desirable: Experience in handling animals and developing formulations, supported by relevant publications (at least one) in Peer-reviewed ISI listed Journals of repute, will be an added advantage.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted/selected on the basis of their performance in interview. Candidates must report to the Centre on 23.06.2017 by 8.30 AM with all original
documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies and two recent passport size photographs. Interview will be conducted from 9.30 A.M onwards.

How to Apply: Application forms along with photocopies of relevant certificate and documents should be submitted by 20.06.2017. Duly filled-in applications in prescribe format should be send by post to- The Director, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Nehru Nagar, Belagavi, Karnataka.
