A. Assistant Registrar
Qualification: Post graduate degree in any discipline or its equivalent with relevant experience.
Desirable: Qualification in area of Management / Engineering / Law. Proficient in handling computerized administration / legal / financial / establishment / academic matters.
Pay Scale: PB-3 (15,600/- to 39,100/-) with GP of 5,400/-
Age Limit: 35 Years.
B. Superintendent
Qualification: (Hons.) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. OR Master’s Degree. Knowledge in use of Office Automation Software.
Pay Scale: PB-2 (9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of 4200/-
Age Limit: 30 Years.
C. Technical Assistant (Computer Center/ Civil)
Qualification: Diploma of 3 years duration in Engineering (Computer Science/ Civil) plus 2 years relevant experience. OR Bachelor‟s Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/ Civil) plus 2 years relevant experience.
Pay Scale: PB-2 (` 9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of `4200/-
Age Limit: 30 Years.
D. Junior Assistant
Qualification: Bachelor‟s degree and proficiency in use of Office Automation Software.
Pay Scale: PB-1 (5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of 2000/-
Age Limit: 27 Years.
E. Junior Assistant (Library)
Qualification: Graduate in Library Science. Experience of at least 2 years working in a Library. OR Post Graduate Degree in Library Science.
Desirable: Experience in Library Automation/ knowledge of computerization of Library.
Pay Scale: PB-1 (5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of 2000/-
Age Limit: 27 Years.
F. Multi-tasking Staff (Welder)
Qualification: ITI Certificate in Welder Trade. Class 10 passed from a recognized Board. 02 years relevant experience.
Pay Scale: PB-1 (5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of 1800/-
Age Limit: 27 Years.
Application fee: Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 500/- for general and in case of SC/ST Rs. 250/- for Assistant Registrar post and Rs. 200/- for general and Rs. 100/- for reserved for all other posts in the form of Demand Draft only drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, payable at Shillong
