A. Scientist
Qualification: Ph.D. submitted in the following subjects (as per post)- Statistics; Environmental Sciences/energy studies/agriculture; /water; sciences/biology/ biotechnology; Math/computers; Physics; operational research etc., desirably with the relevant experience.
Age: Upper age limit 32 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 70130/- (approximate) with grade pay Rs. 6600/-
B. Senior Scientist
Qualification: Ph.D. in Management; Environmental/Atmospheric /Oceanic Sciences/physics; Math etc., desirably with the relevant experience.
Age: Upper age limit 37 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 80500/- (approximate) with grade pay Rs. 7600/-
C. Technical Assistant
Qualification: B.Sc (Sc.) with B.Lib. Sci.;B.Sc. (Sci) with mass communication; Diploma in IT/Computer Science; diploma in IT/Computer Science/BCA;
B.Sc. (Sci.) with qualification in HR; B.Sc. (Sci.) in Information Technology; B.Sc. (Sci.) with diploma in Intellectual Property; Bachelor in Medical Sciences etc., desirably with the relevant experience.
Age: Upper age limit 28 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 46000 (Approx) with grade pay Rs. 4200/-
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- payable separately for each post drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favor of “Director, NISTADS” payable at New Delhi.
