Age Limit: General candidates should have age between 18 – 32 years as on 01.07.2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Salary Scale: Pay Matrix-Level- 6 (As per 6th CPC PB-2,Rs 9300-34800 with GP Rs.4200)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering for JE (Civil). Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics & Power Engineering or a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics for JE (Electrical).
Selection Process: Based on the applications received, candidates found eligible will be called for written test. A merit list may also be prepared based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Written examination will be of two tier – Objective and Subjective types. Objective test will be of 150 marks with 2 hours duration allowed. The distribution is 90 marks-Technical ability & General Science + 60 marks (General Intelligence, Reasoning, General awareness, Arithimetic). 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in Objective Paper only as Negative marking. The Descriptive test will be of 50 marks (35 marks-Professional, 15 marks for Proficiency in English Language). Duration of descriptive test will be 1.30 hour. The total marks obtained out of these 200 marks will be converted to 100 as full mark. The minimum qualifying mark will be 60% for all category.
