Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Commandant – General Duty (Male only):
Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree in any subject with minimum 60% aggregate marks. Mathematics and Physics as subject upto 12th standard with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Math and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma having 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics are also eligible.
Assistant Commandant – Technical (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics) – Male only:
Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Engineering degree in relevant steam i.e Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace or Electrical / Electronics. Mathematics and Physics as subject upto 12th standard with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Math and Physics.
Assistant Commandant – Commercial Pilot Licence (Male / Female):
Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1997 to 30 Jun 2003 (Both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th class with physics and math as subjects with 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. Should possess current Commercial Pilot Licence issued/ validated by Director General Civil Aviation.
Assistant Commandant – Law Entry (Male / Female):
Age Limit: Born between 01 Jul 1993 to 30 Jun 2001 (Both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: A degree in Law with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
Coast Guard Recruitment 2022 Assistant Commandant Selection Procedure
The selection process is comprises of shortlisting of the applicants based on higher percentage of marks in the qualifying exam. Shortlisted candidates have to appear in a Preliminary Selection state which will comprising of Mental Ability Test/Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test. Aptitude test in English language having objective type questions. Further the applicants have to appear in stage-II for final selection and medical fitness test.
