A. Professor
Qualification: Ph.D degree or equivalent in the appropriate discipline, with a very good academic record throughout. Successful track record of teaching.
Experience: 10 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
Scales of Pay: Rs. 37400-67000 + Academic Grade Pay (AGP) of Rs. 10,500/-
B. Associate Professor
Qualification: Ph.D degree or equivalent in the appropriate discipline, with a very good academic record throughout. Successful track record of teaching.
Experience: 06 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
Scales of Pay: Rs. 37400-67000 + AGP of Rs. 9,500/-
C. Assistant Professor
Qualification: Ph.D degree or equivalent in the appropriate discipline, with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience: 03 years of post-qualification teaching/research/industry experience.
Scales of Pay: Rs. 15600-39100 + AGP of Rs. 8,000/-
Selection Process: Process of selection would normally involve preliminary assessment of the suitability of the applicants; presentation of seminar by the (short-listed) candidates and interaction with members of faculty/experts. Interview by Selection Committee of faculty/experts would also be an important part of selection procedure. This is a rolling advertisement and all applications received by the closing date would be considered for screening, in the first lot. Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be short-listed. IIM-V reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for the selection process to a reasonable number on the basis of relevant criteria, higher than the minimum prescribed. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
