A. Research Scientist
Qualification: M.Sc & Ph.D in Physics in the field of Atmospheric Sciences with 04 years of post-qualification research experience for Category (a). M.Sc in Physics with Electronics with 03 years of research experience in signal processing and hardware related to ST Radar Systems and with relevant knowledge on Atmospheric Sciences for Category (b). M.Sc in Computer Science/Information Technology with Ph.D in the field of Atmospheric Science for Category (c).
Age Limit: 21 – 43 years as on 01.01.2017
B. Technical Associate / Scientific Officer
Qualification: M. Sc. in Physics with Electronics as a special paper and 03 years of research experience in the field relevant to Atmospheric Sciences for Category (a). M.Sc in Computer Science/Information Technology with 03 years research experience in the field of Atmospheric Sciences and Parallel Computing System for Category (b).
Age Limit: 21 – 43 years as on 01.01.2017
C. Laboratory Helper / Lab Bearer
Qualification: HSLC standard pass with 5 years of experience in handling of laboratory equipments/ systems and office work related services.
Age Limit: 21 – 43 years as on 01.01.2017
Application fee: Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- only and in case of SC/ST Rs. 500/- only by Demand Draft in favor of the “Registrar, Gauhati University” payable at SBI, G.U. Branch.
How to Apply: Application forms along with photocopies of relevant certificate and documents should be submitted by 16.06.2017. Duly filled-in applications in prescribe format in an envelope indicating “name of the post applied for” should be send by post to- “The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-14.
