Age Limit: General candidates should have maximum age 37 years. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Pay Scale: Rs. 45,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Qualification: M.Sc Degree in Environment/ Agriculture/ Forestry & Natural Resources in first Division with 04 years work experience in relevant fields OR Bachelor Degree in Engineering Environmental/Civil/ Chemical with reliable experience OR Ph.D in Environmental Sciences/Agriculture/Forestry & Natural Resources/ Environmental Engineering /Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering with 01 year work experience in relevant fields OR M.Tech/M.E degree in Environmental engineering/Civil/ Chemical with 02 years work experience in relevant fields.
Job Profile: Identification of specific Climate Change related problems and relevant technologies of the Chandigarh union territory. Collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of data with computer modeling, field survey, formulate projects and reports organizing. Collaborate with the institutions and different departments of Chandigarh Administration, who have been made responsible for Chandigarh Climate Action Plan (CCAP). The person will be the Key officer between Administration and stakeholders. He will also assess the tasks & targets, fixed for different departments / organizations/ institutions etc for implementing CCAP.
