Recruitment process of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) in Central Reserve Police Force will consist of Physical Standards Test (PST), Documentation, written test, Skill Test and Medical fitness test. Here is a clear view of CRPF Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) Examination Pattern.

Written Examination

Candidates who qualify in Physical Standard Test & Documentation are to appear in written examination. Admit card for exam to the candidates, will be uploaded in a timely manner by mentioning date & venue of written examination.

The written examination will be of one paper only carrying a total of 225 marks consisting of following two parts:-

Part-I: Section B, C, D of this part will be set as bilingual, however, First section may have optional language. The questions of this part shall be objective type in nature having a total weight-age of 200 marks.
Section-A: Hindi Language Or English Language (Optional).
Section-B: General Intelligence.
Section-C: Numerical Aptitude.
Section-D: Clerical Aptitude.

Part-II: This part will be descriptive in nature and set as bilingual, consisting of two questions i.e Essay Writing of 15 marks which is to be written in about 150 words and Letter Writing of 10 marks which is to be written in about 100 words (total 25 marks). Marks obtained by candidates in Part-II will be added in final merit list.
