A. Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant)
Qualification: A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines. Have completed the compulsory rotating internship. Should also possess Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty. One and a half years experience in the concerned specialty after PG Degree or Two and half years experience after PG Diploma.
Age: not be exceeding 40 years
B. Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant)
Qualification: A recognized medical qualification of allopathic system of medicines. Must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Age: not be exceeding 30 years
C. Dental Surgeon (Assistant Commandant)
Qualification: Bachelor degree of Dental Surgery. Should be registered with Dental Council of India. Post Degree work experience will be given preference.
Age: not be exceeding 35 years
Physical Standards: Candidates should conform to the following physical standards. Physical standards are common for all posts.
» Height: 157.5 Cms for Male & 142 Cms for Female
» Weight: Proportionate to height and age
» Chest (for Male only): 77 Cms – Unexpanded & 82 Cms – Expanded
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be called for interview. Objective of interview will be to test the general knowledge and ability of the candidates in the field of their academic study. Interview will be conducted to assess the candidate’s intellectual curiosity, balance of judgement and alertness of mind, ability of social cohesion, integrity of character etc. The candidates who attain the minimum prescribed standard for the selection in the interview will be required to undergo detailed medical examination. Candidate must be fit to get appointed. The Medical Officers Selection Board will prepare a merit list on the basis of aggregate marks awarded to each candidates during Interview.

Application Fee: All General and OBC candidates are required to submit a crossed IPO/Bank Draft/Banker Cheque for Rs. 400/- only drawn in favor of DIG (Adm), Directorate General, CRPF payable at State Bank of India, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road New Delhi, as application fee. SC, ST and Female candidate are exempted from paying Fees.
