Age Limit: General candidates should have age between 18 – 25 years as on 26.04.2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Salary Scale:
Educational Qualification: Candidates, for different posts of Diploma Trainee, should have following qualification obtained from a recognised university with minimum 70% marks..
Electrical: Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
C&I: Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering.
Civil: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Selection Process: Selection in BRBCL, KBUNL and NPGCL will be done through a common written test and a common skill test. Eligible candidates will have to undergo through a two hours objective type written test. The test can be taken in Hindi or English. The test will have two parts. Part-I will be Knowledge Assessment Test consisting of 70 multiple-choice questions of the relevant engineering discipline. Part-II will be Aptitude Test having 50 multiple-choice questions on English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong / multiple answered question as penalty. Based on the merit and requirement, the list of successful candidates for appearing in skill test will be prepared. Short listed candidates will have to appear for the skill test. The final placement shall be done on merit-cum-choice of the selected candidates. The candidates will be permanent employees of these respective companies and shall have no claim as an employee of NTPC Ltd.
How to Apply: Candidates have to apply through online registration system only through www.jvdtcareers.net from 27-03-2017 to 26-04-2017. No manual / paper application will be entertained.
Fee/Charges: General/OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 300/-. SC/ ST/ PWD/ XSM candidates are exempted from paying the fee. State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the fee, in the account number (A/C NO. 30631536632) at MLC branch (IFSC Code: SBIN0007506), Patna. Candidate can pay the fee using “pay-in-slip” which is available on the application registration portal.
