Assam Home Guard Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam and register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam. Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Educational Qualification: Pass 10th class in any subjects along with Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate.
Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is min 18 whereas max 40 years. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
