Selection will be made on the basis of performance of candidates in Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Interview. Below is the scheme and pattern of written test to be conducted for the post of Sub Assistant Engineer in West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL). Total marks, allotted for the selection process, will be 150.

Matrix of the written test

Written Test will be conducted for a composite duration of 02 hours (120 minutes). This test will have a weight-age of 100 marks. Questions of written test will be objective type in nature having multiple choice of answers. Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% to General, 35% to Scheduled Caste/OBC(A)/OBC(B), and 30% to Scheduled Tribe/Person with Disability categories. Securing minimum qualifying marks, as set by WBSEDCL, will not entitle a candidate to the next stage of the selection process.
