West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL) is inviting applications to fill up 365 posts of Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical and Civil engineering). WBSEDCL Vacancy Details:

Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – 323 posts
Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 42 posts

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01.01.2017 with relaxation in the upper age limit of 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC & ST and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD Category) candidates.

Salary Scale: A per month remuneration of Rs. 9,000 in the Pay Band Rs. 6300-20200 & Grade Pay Rs. 4400/-

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (for the post of Sub Assistant Engineer/Electrical) and Diploma in Civil Engineering (for the post of Sub Assistant Engineer/Civil) from Institute/College duly recognized by any of the State Council of Technical Education.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates have to apply through online registration system at www.wbsedcl.in at Career section. No other means / mode of application shall be entertained. Applications can be submitted between 18.03.2017 to 07.04.2017 (Mid Night). After applying online, candidates are required to print the system generated Registration Slip with unique Application No. and send it alon with WBSEDCL’s fee challan copy along with all credentials duly self-attested by ordinary post to : Post Bag No. 01, Sech Bhawan Post Office, Kolkata-700091.

Application Fee: Application fees (Rs. 300/- only) should be deposited in any branch of United Bank of India through a triplicate fee challan, available below. SC / ST / PwD applicants will not be required to pay any fees.

Instructions to Submit Application:
1. At very first, candidates must have an active email id and Contact No.
2. Candidates should keep their scanned photograph (50 KB sized 165×125 Px) and Signature (20 KB sized 80×125 Px) in a digital form (as JPEG/JPG format) at the time of apply online.
3. Log on to the website www.wbsedcl.in and Go to Career section.
4. Select your desired post & proceed with clicking on Apply Online button.
5. Fill all the details carefully in given columns of Online Form. Upload the required data and submit the form.
6. One should take a printout of the submitted application for the reference.
