SSC CHSL Tier-I Exam Pattern

SSC CHSL Tier-I is a computer base examination. Tier-I Exam consists of objective type multiple choice questions related to language test, reasoning, math and general knowledge. As stated above, the medium of exam is bilingual that is English and Hindi. In addition, there is negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. SSC CHSL Tier- II Exam Pattern

SSC CHSL Tier- II Examination is a descriptive paper of 100 marks. Unlike the Tier-I, this exam is to be attempt in “Pen and Paper” mode. Total duration of CHSL Tier-2 Exam is 60 minutes, though, 80 minutes for candidates eligible for scribes. Tier- II exam is of comprise writing an Essay of 200-250 words and a letter / application of approximately 150-200 words. Minimum passing score is 33%. SSC CHSL Tier- III Skill Test

SSC CHSL Tier-III Exam is typing skill test to conduct on computers. This exam is qualifying in nature. Errors in Skill Test will be calculated up to 2 decimal points.

For DEO in CAG: Data entry speed of 15000 key depressions per hour. Pre-printed matter in English containing about 3700-4000 key-depressions has to be re-type/enter the same in the Computer within 15 minutes.

For DEO in other Dept.: Data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour. Pre-printed matter in English containing about 2000-2200 key-depressions has to be re-type/enter the same in the Computer within 15 minutes.

For LDC / JSA and Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Typing test of 35 words per minute either in English OR 30 words per minute in Hindi. Speed of 35 wpm equally higher to 10500 kdph. On the other hand 30 wpm is equivalent to about 9000 key depressions per hour.

SSC CHSL Pay Scale

How to Apply for SSC CHSL 2024
