SBI Exam Pattern Of Junior Associate (Clerical Cadre)
Preliminary Examination (Phase-I): This examination will consist of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows.

Main Examination (Phase-II): The structure of main examination (online objective type) would be as follows.

Candidates on the posts of Junior Associate (Clerical Cadre) will be selected through on-line test (preliminary & main examination) and test of specified opted local language. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
SBI Exam Pattern Of Probationary Officer (PO)
Preliminary Examination (Phase-I): Preliminary Examination will consisti of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows. Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination to appear in the Main Examination.

Main Examination (Phase-II): Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both Tests will be conducted online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after completion of the Objective Test.
(i) Objective Test: The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of following sections-

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
Group Exercises & Interview (Phase – III): Group discussion will be of 20 marks. Interview shall be of 30 marks. Results of the candidates who qualify for Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview as well as the final select list will be made available on the Bank’s website.
