RPSC Statistical Officer Eligibility
Educational Qualification: 2nd class Master’s degree in Economics / Statistics / Math with Statistics / Commerce with Statistics or M.Sc Agriculture in Statistics. In addition, have a computer education certificate [RS-CIT course]. Have working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
Experience: Experience of handling official Statistics at least for one year in a Government Department or reputed Commercial concern or University.
Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is min 21 whereas max 40 years. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
RPSC Statistical Officer Exam Pattern
Written exam consists of objective type multiple choice questions. Part-I is for 40 marks whereas Paper-II for 100 marks. Part-I is based on Rajasthan GK whereas Paper-III for relevant subject knowledge. Each right question has 1 mark. On the other hand there is negative marking of 0.33 mark for each wrong answer.
