Management Trainee: Bachelor Degree (full time) in Fire Engineering.
Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver: 10th class pass possessing a valid driving license of heavy motor vehicles and 01 years experience.
Boiler Operator: Matriculation with Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Power Plant/ Production/ Instrumentation Engineering with 1st-class Boiler Attendant Certificate of Competency.
Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 10th class pass with Diploma in concern field of Engineering.
Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 10th class pass with ITI in concern trade.
Age Limit: Age limit for general candidates is min 18 whereas max 28 years. However, relaxation in upper age is admissible up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
SAIL-RSP Technician Syllabus
The written test comprises total 100 questions. Duration of exam is 90 minutes. Each question carry 1 mark and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks to be deduct. Question paper is of objective type. Minimum qualifying marks in written test will be determined based on 50% score (for UR Category) and 40% score (for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) & PWD candidates. Candidates who qualify in the written examination have to appear for Skill Test / Trade Test in the ratio of 1:3. Skill Test / Trade Test is qualifying only.
