Paper- I: At first paper of written exam there are 100 marks. Paper- I has a duration of 60 minutes. There are four parts in question paper having objective type MCQs. Following are the details of all four parts that is (i) Odia language, (ii) General English, (iii) Computer Fundamentals, and (iv) General Studies. - General Studies: Indian history, Economics, Geography, Indian polity, Environmental issues, Human rights, General science, Current events.
- General English: Descriptive paper comprise of short essay writing, report and application writing, correct usages, comprehension, and precies writing, Translation of a passage of Odia into English etc.
- Odia Language: Descriptive paper will comprise of short essay writing, report and application writing, correct usages, grammar. Translation of a passage of English to Odia etc.
- Computer Fundamentals: Basic knowledge and skills of computer, Internet, E-mail, MS Word, Excel and Power-point.
