ONGC Scholarship 2019-2020 Eligibility Norms
What is the eligibility for ONGC scholarship? Is there any age limit to apply? What are educational standards? Get the solutions to all such type of queries regarding the ONGC Scholarship 2019-2020 Eligibility Norms.
- Nationality: The scholarships are open for studies in India and for Indian nationals only.
- Educational standard: Candidate should be a student of 1st year of Graduate Engineering or MBBS or 1st year of Masters degree in Geology/Geophysics or MBA. The scholarship shall be admissible only for pursuing full time regular courses.
- Additional educational standards: Students pursuing four years Engineering/MBBS or two years Masters in Business Administration or two years Master Degree in Geology/ Geophysics are also eligible.
- Qualifying exam: Must have scored minimum 60% marks in 12th standard for Engineering and MBBS disciplines. Similarly 60% marks in graduation for P.G Courses i.e. Geology/Geophysics/MBA. Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA/CGPA) of minimum 6.0 in 10 points scale is essential.
- Income: Gross annual income of family of the candidate from all sources should not be more than INR 4.50 lakhs per annum.
- Age limit: Maximum age of student must not be more than 30 years as on 01.10.2019.
