NTPC ET Selection Procedure
Eligible applicants will have to appear in GATE 2019 examination. Based on the marks scored in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process by NTPC. This will include online behavioral/aptitude test followed by group discussion and/or interview. Final merit list will be prepared by giving 85% weightage to GATE score, 5% to GD and 10% to interview.

NTPC ET Exam Pattern

NTPC ET Syllabus 2019
Syllabus of written examination will be equivalent to graduate degree standard of engineering. Free syllabus can be downloaded from the provided link. The examination will have to parts i.e, General Aptitude Test and Subject Test.
NTPC ET Result 2019
Names of the candidates shortlisted after GATE test will be published online at the NTPC website. Names of recommended candidates for appointment will be published provisionally subject to the verification of original certificates etc. Selected candidates shall undergo one year training.
