Mining Sirdar:

Educational Qualification: Matriculate or equivalent pass. Valid Mining Sirdar certificate of competency. Valid Gas Testing Certificate. Valid First Aid Certificate (OR) 10th pass with Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering. Valid Overman’s certificate of competency. Valid Gas Testing Certificate. Valid First Aid Certificate.

Surveyor (Mining):

Educational Qualification: Matric pass with Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency (OR) Degree or Diploma in Mining / Mine Surveying Engineering with Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency.

NCL Mining Sirdar Surveyor Syllabus

Written exam has objective type multiple choice questions. There are 100 questions for 100 marks. Each right question has 1 mark. There is negative marking for wrong answer. Question paper is consisting of two sections. Section-A consists of technical knowledge (Discipline related) with 70 multiple choice questions (MCQ). On the other hand Section-B consists of General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal & Mental Ability and Quantitative aptitude with 30 multiple choice questions (MCQ). The question paper shall be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi only. Duration of exam is 90 minutes.
