Eligibility Norms for Manager in NABARD

Following are the essential eligibility norms. Check and satisfy yourself with the minimum requirements of the job.

Selection Procedure of Manager in NABARD

Selection will be done through following three Phases. Preliminary Exam will be qualifying in nature and no marks of this exam will be counted for merit list. Candidates who qualify in prelims, shall have to appear in Main Examination. Calling ratio for Main Exam shall be 1:25. There will be penalty of deduction of 1/4th of the marks as negative marking in Phase-I and Phase-II, both. Cut-offs in Prelims exam and Main written exam may be applied in two stages (i) On scores in individual tests, (ii) On Total Score. Only the candidates who qualify in Main Examination will be shortlisted to appear in Interview. Calling ratio for Interview shall be 1:5. Final selection will be based on the performance in Main Written Examination and Interview, taken together.

  1. Phase–I: Preliminary examination (online exam)
  2. Phase–II: Main written examination (MCQ/descriptive)
  3. Phase–III: Personality test (face-to-face interview)

Below is given the detailed scheme and pattern of examination(s) to be conducted by NABARD for the posts of Assistant Manager Grade-A.

  1. Phase–I: Preliminary Examination
    • Type of exam: Objective type multiple choice based questions
    • Weightage: Total 200 marks
    • Duration: Composite time duration of 120 minutes

    • Paper-II: Objective type MCQs related to the concern discipline

Paper-I Test of analytical and drafting abilities through Descriptive Paper on General English comprising essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & letter writing. 90 minutes 100 marks
Paper-II i) for posts as at (i) in Table I – Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (focus on Rural India), (ii) for posts as at (ii) to (ix) in Table-1 : Paper on related discipline 90 minutes 100 marks
  1. Phase–III: Interview

Interview will be conducted to examine the personalty, standard of presentation, and knowledge of candidates who qualify in Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit. 40 marks
