Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University came into existence in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. The university was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977. The University campus is spread over an area of 665.44 acres in historical city of Rohtak. Qualification: Ph.D. degree and ten years of teaching experience for posts of Professor; Ph.D. degree and eight years of teaching experience for posts of Associate Professor; Master degree and NET exam qualified for posts of Assistant Professor.
Age Limit: Maximum 50 years, relaxable in special cases by the competent authority. Relaxations or reservation will be admissible as per rules.
Selection Process: Selection of the eligible candidates will be done on the basis of performance in career assessment and interview. Teaching skill and subject knowledge shall be assessed by the Selection Committee during Presentation and Interview.
Application Fee: Rs.600/- for General candidates, Rs.350/- for General (Female) candidates of Haryana, Rs.150/- for SC/BC (Male) candidates of Haryana, Rs.100/- for SC/BC (Female) candidates of Haryana and Rs.100/- for ESM/PWD candidates of Haryana. Fee can be paid through Online mode.
