Age Limit: not more than 27 years as on 14.08.2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay Rs.4800 (Pre-revised)

Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi from a recognised university with English as a subject at the Degree Level OR Master’s Degree in English from a recognised university with Hindi as a subject at the Degree Level OR Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium from a recognised university and Hindi as a subject at the Degree Level. Must have a Diploma/Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa OR 02 years experience of translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will have to appear in written examination. Preliminary Test and Main Examination shall be conducted to selected the best fit candidates. From amongst the candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in each component of Paper-I and Paper-II of Mains, selection will be made on the basis of the overall performance of candidates in the Main Examination.

Exam Pattern: Preliminary test shall be conducted for 150 marks. This will have questions based on General English, General Hindi and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The candidates who secure the Minimum qualifying marks in Preliminary exam will further be admitted to appear in Main Examination. Main Exam shall be conducted for 250 marks. Questions in Main Exam shall be based on Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa; English Essay, Precis, Grammar and Hindi Essay, Precis, Grammar.

How to Apply: Application forms along with photocopies of relevant certificate and documents should be submitted by 21.08.2017. Duly filled-in applications in prescribe format should be send by post to- Joint Recruitment Cell, Lok Sabha Secretariat, Room No. 521, Parliament House Annexe, New Delhi-110001.
