KUK Clerk Selection Procedure
Selection will be based on the total aggregate marks/Merit of the candidate out of 100 calculated as per criteria of selection of in following 4 successive phases. The points for selection will be calculated on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained as per following distribution.
- Phase-I: Type test (to be conducted on computer only): 30 marks
- Phase-II: Computer appreciation & application test: 20 marks
- Phase-III: Aptitude test (written examination): 30 marks
- Phase-IV: Assessment of academic qualification (Physical verification of original documents): 20 marks
KUK Clerk Exam Pattern
Download Kurukshetra University Clerk Exam Pattern in detail at here. The written examination will consist of one paper only containing Multiple choice objective type questions. Test will be based on General Studies and Arithmetic and having 1 hour and 30 minutes of duration.
- Phase-I: Type Test in English

| Description: | An unseen passage comprising of 600 words in English will be provided to candidates to type on computer. The required qualifying speed on Computer for typing test is 30 Words Per Minute (WPM). |
- Phase-II: Computer Appreciation & Application Test
| Duration: | 40 Minutes |
| Max marks: | 20 |
| Pass marks: | 08 |
| Description: | Test will consist of 40 objective type questions having four multiple choice of answers. For every correct answer, 0.5 mark will be given. For each wrong answer, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. Syllabus of computer knowledge test is given below. |
- Phase-III: Aptitude Test

Description: Candidates are compulsorily required to appear physically in Phase IV for the verification of original documents and certificates. Formula of calculation of marks : Marks in Academic Qualification out of 20 = (% of marks at Graduation Level X 0.2)
Kurukshetra University Clerk Syllabus 2019
Syllabus of written test will based on the test of English language, ability of simple calculations of mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning ability. Questions will be based on general knowledge of India with special focus on Haryana state, visual memory, number system etc. Syllabus of computer test will include the knowledge test of basic computer operations and applications.
