Qualification for Classes I-V/Primary: PUC/Sr.Secondary with at least 50% marks And passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed/4th year B.El.Ed/2-year D.Ed (Special Education) OR BA/B.Sc with at least 50% marks & passed/appearing in Final-year of 2-year D.Ed.
Qualification for Classes VI-VIII/Elementary: B.A/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed/2-year B.Ed/ 4-year B.El.Ed/Final-year B.Ed (Special Education) OR PUC/Sr.Secondary 50% marks with passed/appearing in final year of 4-year B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
Age limit: There is no age limit to appear in Karnataka TET.
Exam Scheme: All questions in KARTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternative answers out of which one answer will be most appropriate. Each carrying one mark. No negative marking.
