Stage – I
Written Test: The written exam will have to be competed in maximum 135 minutes. This shall have a total of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. The questions shall have multiple choice of answers and objective type in nature, with 1 mark being awarded for each right answer and 0.25 marks being deducted for each wrong answer. Minimum pass marks shall be 35% for SC/ST Category and 40% for all other candidates. The indicative scheme and pattern of the test paper shall be as follows-
- General Knowledge & Awareness, including General Science – 50 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Ability and Reasoning – 20 questions
- Computer Awareness – 10 questions
- English Comprehension – 10 questions
- Hindi Comprehension – 10 questions
Stage – II
- General Knowledge & Awareness, including General Science – 50 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Ability and Reasoning – 20 questions
- Computer Awareness – 10 questions
- English Comprehension – 10 questions
- Hindi Comprehension – 10 questions
Stage – II
Medical Fitness Test: Candidates, shortlisted after the written test, shall further be called for the Medical Fitness Test. They should be fit in B1 category. This is a qualifying Test in nature. All candidates placed on the final merit list or panel of wait listed, shall have to undergo and compulsorily pass the medical fitness test as prescribed by JMRC. Passing of the medical fitness test shall be mandatory for all the candidates.
