Army SSC Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Any Indian citizen may apply.
• Age Limit: 20 to 27 years for SSC Tech whereas max 35 years for Widows.
• Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in any Engineering stream for SSC Tech whereas any Graduate for Widows.

Army SSC Tech Selection Procedure

(a) Short listing of Applications: At first, the Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) shortlist the applications and fix cutoff marks for each Engineering discipline. The cut off is applied in each stream on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained by the candidates up to the final semester. Those who are in Final year of their exam are provisionally allowed to appear in SSB interview. In case of final year appearing student, following conditions may apply.

1. Their cumulative percentage of marks upto 6th sem or 3rd year of Engineering degree is not below the approved cut off percentage in their respective streams.
2. After declaration of final results, the cumulative percentage of marks up to final semester/ year of degree course will also be not less than the approved cut off percentage.

(b) SSB Interview: After shortlisting, candidates have to be put through two stage selection procedure i.e SSB for Army SSC Tech entry. The centre allotment is to be be intimate to the candidate via their email. After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates have to login to the join Indian army website and select their SSB dates. Initially the SSB interview dates are available on a first come first serve basis.

(c) Medical Examination: Those candidates who are recommended by the SSB have to appear in medically fitness test. The Joining Letter for training, in the order of merit and depending on the number of vacancies available, will be given.
