Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Recruitment Process (CWE) once a year for recruitment of Specialist Officers (Scale I) in various streams like Human Resources, Agriculture, Information Technology (IT), Legal, Marketing, Rajbhasha Adhikari etc. Following are the Exam Pattern Details…

Exam Pattern: The Written Examination will be conducted in Online Mode only.

1. Exam will have Objective Type Questions (Bilingual in nature), except for English Test.

2. Total Marks for Common Written Examination (CWE) is 200. Maximum duration is 02 Hours.

5. Negative Marking: There will be penalty for wrong answers. For each wrong answer, attempt by the candidate, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. If a question is left without being answered, there will be no penalty for that question.

6. Cutoff Score: Candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and interview, as per his/her category. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided later and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores of online test will not be published to candidates shortlisted for interview.

7. Scores: The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi-percentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.

8. All tests other than Professional Knowledge Examination shall be qualifying only in nature.
