Delhi Guest Teachers Selection Methodology

Posts based district-wise panel will be prepared by the selection board. This will be done on the basis of academic merit prepared separately for each category of applicants. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the requisite academic qualifications. However the Marks obtained in CTET will not be added in computation of merit. Candidates who will get shortlisted through the merit will be allotted the school. School will be allocated to the selected candidates, as and when requested by the School/District through a digital computerized programme.

Please note that passing of the Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) is mandatory for selection to the posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT). Other teaching posts are exempted from the requirement of CTET, as applicable.
