Age Limit: General candidates should not be over 57 years as on 01.07.2017 as the age of superannuation is 58 years for TRB Recruitment 2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + A G P 5400/- per month consolidated.
Qualification: First class Bachelor’s degree in the branch of Engineering relating to the post concerned for the posts of Lecturer (Engineering subjects). A first class Master’s degree in appropriate branch of study for the posts of Lecturer (non-Engineering subjects).
Selection Process: The Selection will be made in two successive stages viz., a) Written examination and, b) Awarding weightage marks during Certificate Verification. Detailed selection procedure and exam pattern is available here. Syllabus of TRB Lecturer recruitment test is available here.
Application Fee: The candidates have to pay an amount of Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/SCA/ ST and PWD candidates towards examination fee. Fee is payable only through online net banking /credit card / debit card.
How to Apply: Online applications will be accepted through the website www.trb.tn.nic.in from 17.06.2017 to 07.07.2017. After submitted once, candidates are not required to send anymore paper applications to the Tamilnadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB.
