Staff Selection Commission has newly released notification to hold an open competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub Inspectors in CISF. - Sub-Inspector (Male) in Delhi Police — 97 posts
- Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police/ Female — 53 posts
- Sub-Inspector (GD) CRPF — 274 posts
- Sub-Inspector (GD) BSF — 508 posts
- Sub-Inspector (GD) ITBP — 85 posts
- Sub-Inspector (GD) SSB — 206 posts

Physical Endurance Test (PET): Following physical endurance testing events shall be conducted for all posts-
(i) For male candidates only
a. 100 meters race in 16 seconds
b. 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
c. Long Jump of 3.65 metres in 3 chances
d. High Jump of 1.2 metres in 3 chances
e. Shot put (16 Lbs) for 4.5 metres in 3 chance
(ii) For female candidates only
a) 100 metres race in 18 seconds
b) 800 metres race in 4 minutes
c) Long Jump of 2.7 metres in 3 chances
d) High Jump of 0.9 metres in 3 chances
Selection Process: The examination will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All these stages of the examination are mandatory. Syllabus & pattern of test, previous years question papers and study material of SSC is given above in table.
Application Fee: All Women candidates and SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen persons are exempted from paying fee. All other candidates have to pay Rs.100/- through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro Credit/ Debit cards.

a. Starting date of online application: 03.03.2018
b. Closing date of online application: 02.04.2018
c. Dates of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I): 04.06.2018 to 10.06.2018
d. Dates of Computer Based Examination (Paper-II): 01.12.2018
How to Apply: Candidates may submit their applications by online mode through online application system at www.ssconline.nic.in. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be entertained.
