Age Limit: General candidates should have age between 18 – 32 years as on 19.06.2017. Relaxations or reservation shall be given as per existing rules and regulations.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1800 (pre-revised), Entry Level Pay in 7th CPC 18000/-.
Qualification: Matriculation (10th class) pass in any subjects. Must have National Trade Certificate (NTC)/National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) issued by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the concern trade.
Selection Process: Selection process shall comprise of a two successive stages- (i) Written examination, which will be of 100 marks, objective type and OMR based, and (ii) Trade Test (Practical) at respective factory along with document verification. How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply online through the website www.ofb.gov.in. Candidate can apply to one factory only, as per his/her choice. Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application Form containing two stages viz. Part-I and Part-II. Candidate shall keep the application forms copy with themselves only to be produced at the time of document verification/trade test. They are Not required to send any paper copy of application to the respective Factory/OFRC/OFB.
Application Fee: Fee amount of Rs.50/- is to be paid online either by payment gateway integrated in the website by using credit card, debit card or net banking or by offline, depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash. SC/ST/ Female/Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
