Pattern of Written Examination

There will be a single written examination containing one question paper only. This will be of Objective-Multiple-choice-type. Written exam will have a total weight-age of 100 marks. All questions will be compulsory to solve. No negative marking is provisioned. Total duration of written exam will be 02 hours. Question paper will consist of following two parts:
» PART – A: This will consist of 20 marks. Questions of Part-A will be based on General Science and Quantitative Aptitude, each having weightage of 10 marks. The toughness of questions will be based of up to 10th Standard.

» PART – B: This will consist of 80 marks. Questions will be based on NCVT syllabus for the relevant trade.

Syllabus of Written Examination

» General Science: Question will be set to assess the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and to test the knowledge of basic science studied upto 10th standard. This will include such matters of every day observations and experience as may be expected of an educated person.

» Quantitative Aptitude: Applicants will be tested for General Mathematics of up to 10th Standard. The test will involving the number systems, equations in two variables, simple and compound interest, perimeter, area, Direct and inverse proportions, trigonometry and Pythagoras theorem.

» NCVT Trade: In Part-II total 80 questions will be set. Questions will be asked from the NCVT Syllabus of relevant trade.
