National Remote Sensing Centre is inviting applications to fill up Thirty Seven posts of Scientist/Engineer and Scientific Assistant. NRSC Vacancy Details:
- Scientist/Engineer-SC – 33 Posts
- Scientist/Engineer-SD – 02 Posts
- Scientific Assistant – 02 Posts
Pay Scale: Pay Level-10 (Rs.56,100/-) for the posts of Scientist/Engineer-SC, Pay Level-11 (Rs.67,700/-) for the posts of Scientist/Engineer-SD and Pay Level-7 (Rs.44,900/-) for the posts of Scientific Assistant.
Qualification: Master degree in Science/Engineering/Technology for the posts of Scientist/Engineer-SC, Ph.D in Atmospheric Modeling subjects/Marine Biology for the posts of Scientist/Engineer-SD, B.Sc Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science for the posts of Scientific Assistant.
Age Limit: minimum 18 years to maximum 35 years as on 05.02.2018. Relaxations or reservation will be admissible as per rules. There is No Upper Age Limit for the posts of Scientist/Engineer-SD.
Selection Process: There will be an initial screening based on the academic performance and other parameters. After the initial screening conducted, the shortlisted candidates will be called for written test or interview. The mode of selection will be Written Test and Skill Test with curriculum based.
