Here you will find the detailed selection methodology for post of Administrative Officer in National Insurance Company Ltd. The selection procedure comprises of the following successive stages:

Phase-I : Preliminary Examination

Preliminary exam will have Objective questions for 100 marks. It will be conducted online. This test would be of 60 minutes duration consisting of 3 different sections. Candidates, shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in Preliminary Test, will be allowed to appear in Main Exam.

Phase-II : Main Examination

Main Examination will have Objective questions for 200 marks and a Descriptive Test for 30 Marks. Both will be conducted online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing the texts on computer. Candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score for each section in objective test separately for short listing for Descriptive Test/Interview. There will also be a separate cut-off marks for the Descriptive Test. However, the score of descriptive test shall not be calculated while further shortlisting the candidates for upcoming stages of recruitment process. Descriptive test shall be qualifying in nature.

Phase-III : Interview

Candidates, shortlisted after the Mains examination, will subsequently be called for an Interview. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from company’s website. Any request regarding change in date, centre etc. of interview will not be entertained. The original as well as photocopies of all documents should be bring by the candidates while appearing in the interview.

The combined final score of candidates shall be calculated on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in online main examination and interview. The weightage (ratio) of online Main Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively. A candidate should be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted.
